Section 01

Who we are

This Policy explains how Enjay IT Solutions Ltd. ("Enjay", "we", "us"), incorporated in India with its registered office at Enjay House, Bhanu Sangam, Sanjan Rd, near Shreeji Hospital, Bhilad, Daheli, Gujarat 396105, handles personal data in connection with the Saaransh website (saaransh.tech) and the Saaransh service ("the Service").

Saaransh is offered in India, and this Policy is written under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

We act in two different roles:

  • Website data. For personal data collected through this website — for example, a demo request — Enjay is the Data Fiduciary.
  • Service data. For personal data inside conversations processed through the Service, Enjay acts as a Data Processor on our customer's documented instructions. The customer is the Data Fiduciary, and the relationship is governed by the customer agreement.
Section 02

The personal data we collect

Through this website, or when you contact us

Your name, work email, phone number, company, team type, team size and the content of your message; plus technical and usage data collected through cookies and analytics (see section 7).

As part of providing the Service, on our customer's instruction

Call recordings and the transcripts, summaries, reports, tasks and alerts generated from them; and the related CRM record data needed to match a call to the right customer and agent — including the customer's phone number, the direction of the call, and the agent or device identifier. This data belongs to our customer and their end-clients.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data through this website.

Section 04

How conversations are processed by AI

This is the section our customers ask about most, so we have written it precisely rather than reassuringly.

What we send to the AI

We send the call recording, together with the limited context needed to interpret it accurately: which agent or device the call belongs to, the direction of the call, and the customer's phone number from the CRM record. We do not send your wider CRM database, your other customers' records, or unrelated account data.

Where processing happens

Conversations are processed on Google Vertex AI in an India-based data centre. Both the processing and any storage of conversation data stay within India.

Retention of the recording

Saaransh does not retain call audio. Once a recording has been analysed, it is deleted. Where a recording originates on your own telephony system, that copy stays on your system and under your control — Saaransh reads it in order to analyse it, and does not keep a copy of its own. The reports, summaries and alerts generated from the recording are retained so your team can refer back to them, and are stored in India.

The AI provider

  • No model training on your data. Our AI provider does not use your conversations to train or fine-tune its models.
  • No retention beyond processing. Our AI provider does not retain your conversations after processing, other than a short-lived cache — up to 24 hours — used to speed up responses, held within the same region.
  • No sale of data. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

Feedback stays with you

When your own authorised users correct Saaransh — for example, a team leader re-classifying a flagged call — that feedback makes Saaransh more accurate for your business and your definitions. This learning is isolated to your account. It is not used to build a model shared across customers.

Consent to record

Obtaining consent to record a call is the customer's responsibility as the Data Fiduciary — whether the call is made on a desk phone, a call-centre line, or the Saaransh mobile app on an agent's handset. Enjay analyses recordings on the customer's instruction, and does not obtain consent from the customer's end-clients on their behalf. We provide documentation to support our customers' own consent and notice obligations.

Section 05

Who we share personal data with

  • Service providers and sub-processors: our AI and cloud infrastructure provider (Google Cloud / Vertex AI), Sangam CRM, and our analytics and communication tools. A current list of sub-processors is available on request from the contact in section 10.
  • Legal and regulatory: where required by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to protect rights and safety.
  • Business transfers: in the event of a merger or acquisition, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell personal data.

Section 06

Where data is stored

Conversations are processed in India, and the recordings, transcripts, reports and alerts derived from them are stored in India, as described in section 4.

Some other processing — for example website analytics, hosting of this marketing site, or the communication tools we use to reply to enquiries — may take place outside India, under appropriate safeguards. This is separate from your conversation data.

Section 07

Cookies

We use necessary cookies to run this site and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand how it is used and improve it. You can manage your preferences through our cookie banner, and withdraw your consent at any time. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies directly.

Section 08

How long we keep personal data

Website enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our business records, and then deleted. Call audio is not retained — it is deleted once analysed. The reports, summaries and alerts Saaransh generates are retained for your team's future reference, and are deleted on request or at the end of the customer relationship, subject to any legal retention requirement.

Section 09

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to: obtain a summary of your personal data and how it is processed; have it corrected, completed, updated or erased; nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity; and have your grievances addressed.

Where our processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 10. If your personal data was given to us by one of our customers as part of their use of the Service, we will refer your request to that customer, who is the Data Fiduciary for it.

Section 11

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption of data in transit, access controls on our systems, and separation of each customer's data from every other customer's. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Section 12

The Service is built for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of children through this website or the Service.
